This privacy statement explains how RevoSpin 360 handles the processing of personal data. It states, for example, the personal data (and categories of personal data) that are collected and the purpose for which the personal data are used. RevoSpin 360 also states the legal grounds for the processing of personal data.

The processing of personal data by RevoSpin 360 falls under the statutory exemption regulations. For this reason, the processing is not reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Types, purposes, legal grounds and period of processing of personal data

Your personal data is processed when you enter into an agreement with RevoSpin 360. This agreement is formed when you download the RevoSpin 360 app. The personal data are used to enable surveys in the app, in which you can create your own questionnaires. When creating your account in the app, you are asked to fill in certain mandatory data. This includes your name and address. The registration form also asks for your e-mail address. Your e-mail address is necessary in order to create an account and to be able to easily contact you at a later time, as well as to inform you about products or services that may be of interest to you in the future. You can unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time by clicking on the link in the e-mail.

The app also saves the visual material (i.e. photographs and videos) created in the events you

purchased. This visual material is saved in your personal online gallery, allowing you to share the visual material with the guests of your event at a later time. Photographs and videos fall under the special categories for personal data, as it is possible to extract someone’s special personal data (e.g. race, ethnic origin or health data) from a photograph or video. For the purpose of saving this visual material, each person who uses your event will grant his or her explicit permission before the visual material is created. This explicit permission can be withdrawn at any time. In that case, you must delete any visual material in which this person is found, even if it shows more than one person.

The app uses depth data to process the photographs and videos. It uses the true depth sensor and the ultra-wide and wide lens to get this data. This data will not be stored, it is only used for real-time processing. The depth data is not used by any third party, since it’s not stored.

Processing agreement

As soon as you purchase an event in the app, you will become a controller of personal data within the meaning of the GDPR. This is due to the fact that you retain the visual material and personal data, i.e. names and e-mail addresses, of persons who use your event. RevoSpin 360 receives these data from you, meaning that RevoSpin 360 is the processor. The acceptance of this privacy statement means that a processing agreement is formed between you and RevoSpin 360. This agreement will end by operation of law when you delete your account or uninstall the app.

RevoSpin 360 guarantees the application of appropriate technical and organizational measures, ensuring that the processing of personal data meets the requirements of the GDPR and safeguarding the protection of the personal data of the user of your event. RevoSpin 360 ensures compliance with GDPR regulations. You are liable for any damage or loss or fines imposed on you or on RevoSpin 360 by the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you violate the GDPR.
